Cornell Fall 2017 Transfer

@hdaviirus I got the pin and am an ILR student. When was your stuff sent for review?

I’m also CALS without an update on the transfer credit page. I’d just like to point out that this entire process is extremely uncertain, and speculation never leads to anything useful. Just sit back and ride the wave

@ILRie18 I didn’t get a notification or anything so I do not know the exact day, but it was all sent in by early April at the latest (like between the 1st and the 4th). When did yours get sent in?

@hdaviirus Mine was sent in around early / mid March.

@ILRie18 Well that makes sense LOL, I sent my midterm report in late Feb but it was not processed for over a month. Very annoying. When does it say your decision is going to come out? And I thought Ian made calls for ILR, or no?

Anybody know when I should be expecting my decision if my stuff was sent for review early April?

You guys are making me nervous haha. I can’t seem to get my pin or log in to the housing portal. Is that an early denial?

@hdaviirus Ian makes calls usually the day before the decision comes out. Nonetheless there’s no way to know how accurate this pin test is.

@jq3322 No. It means there is no decision made yet.

everybody needs to chill out lol. we’ll get our decisions in the next few weeks, there’s no use stressing about whether or not a PIN or housing portal or transfer credit page works.

Hi, good luck everyone
i just got into under review today. i applied at CAS. March 14
do you guys know how long does it take to get notification averagely ?
i think i can’t get this week but i don’t know how long it will take it

so is it true that cals decisions come out starting this week?

@ILRie18 Very true on the PIN accuracy thing, but out of curiosity, if you are comfortable saying, when did it say your decision would be available?

I’ve been reading this thread for a while but this is my first time posting. Would you guys mind chancing me?

college gpa: 3.864
HS gpa: 3.2 unweighted, 4.1 weighted
SAT: 1930

I am applying as a sophomore after getting denied last year. I have raised my college gpa from a 3.75 to a 3.864 since then. I am applying to the college of arts and sciences.

As far as ECs go I am fairly busy:

  • Working as a research assistant for a professor.
  • Part of the honors college
  • Writing for a music publication.
  • In the process of publishing a graphic novel.
  • Writer for a UK record store start up company.
  • Recording secretary and academic chair of the phi kappa psi fraternity.
  • Youth jury of the Rhode Island International Film Festival.

I also work around 30 hours a week and I belong to two honors organizations. I currently attend Florida State University where I am double majoring in english and poly sci.

Any thoughts are appreciated. I realize my high school and SATs are a little low but hey you never know.

@hdaviirus Tonight, 12am. Which is the weird part.

@ILRie18 wow, 12am. That’s pretty weird for college acceptance no? Almost all decisions I have known (from other schools) about were between 12 and 8pm. Are you nervous? I guess Ian might be calling today if he still maintains the practice this year. Good Luck!

@ILRie18 Good luck!

@hdaviirus Which is why I think this method isn’t the most accurate.

@Mastodon97 Thank you!

@litlhoward2468 , can you log into your housing? since you are a GT

you can’t log in to the housing until you submit the deposit, and you can’t do that until you accept the offer, and you can’t accept the offer until midnight tonight (ILR GT)

@wait you’ve already been accepted? You might want to update the applicant list then. I haven’t seen a lot of people do that even though some people have been getting decisions already.

Decisions are coming out during midnight? I thought they come out at 10am?
