when should we hear back for engineering majors?
@rubberducky123 I’m wondering about the same. I applied for CS, which requires Course Description if under CoE. The “required material” page for CAS doesn’t work, so I mailed nothing but those appeared on the application portal.
@HopefulCollege95 Cool! I made it a point in essays that I wish to go to a school with more opportunities outside engineering. So I applied for reach schools like Cornell and Columbia, as well as UM and UIUC as target schools. I got an offer from UIUC’s CS+Linguistics program some days ago. Which schools are you apply to besides Cornell, and what do you think about Cornell’s CS department?
@Mastodon97 When was your application sent to committee? Mine was sent ~April 13th. They must’ve made the decision very quickly.
@NotAMathlete Mine was sent in April 12th, but I still haven’t gotten a pin. Do you have one?
Mine was sent on the 6th (ish), but my pin still in’t available. Applied to CAS
How did you guys know the time when your applications were sent to committee?
@gentsk77 Because we’re obsessed and antisocial, we check our portals every day (multiple times).
@lexluther96 Are you talking about the “Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review”? I did too, but I didn’t even notice when that part showed up… No pin/transeval either, and I’m applying to the school of engineering

When I checked yesterday, I didn’t have a pin. Does that mean that I won’t be getting results tonight? The stress is killing meeeee
