Cornell Fall 2018 Transfer Thread

@CollegeIsHardxx nah, it’s probably because I’m a GT? I really wouldn’t worry about it!

@idekidc hahaha thanks for the encouragement!

I have couple questions about admissions. Cornell received everything except midterm report but it says “Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review.” Shouldn’t they wait for my midterm report? I already sent my midterm report 2 days ago but it still shows unchecked. Also, I didn’t send SAT scores, do I have to talk about the admission staff about this? Last thing, do you guys know when do we hear decisions?

Good luck all.

Any other freshman applying for AEM? does anyone know when the AEM decisions are coming out?

@LookAtMe freshmen decisions came out March 28th…

@idekidc i think @LookAtMe meant a current freshman transferring to become a sophomore at Cornell

oh lol my bad @LookAtMe anyways i heard CALS decisions start coming out next tuesday!

@yankeebanger call office of ad by tomorrow, highly concerning, i had all documents reviewed already for me

@yankeebanger i wouldn’t call the admissions office, since you literally just sent your midterm report. Give it 2 or 3 weeks. Also, applications can be “reviewed” if all documents, except for the midterm report, have been received. But they can’t give you a decision until they see the midterm report.

You could look up if your specific college requires SAT scores, since that information’s probably available online.

My midterm report took about a 1-2 weeks.

midterm report shouldn’t take even a week. Mine cleared out in 2 days, because I submitted it online through their website.

Well it did. I also submitted it online. The point is that we all know that they are behind and nagging them constantly won’t help the situation. Please do call, if it takes really long, but not if its been 2 days. Especially if it was right before the weekend.

Hello, does anyone knows how I can submit my common app essays since I applied for Spring 2018 before and the Common App was locked for Fall 2018?

I sent them an email on 04/11, but they didn’t reply back. So worried!!!

Hey so I used my appID to log into registering for a meal plan but it quickly switched to saying I had a netid and I got so far as potentionally being billed for a meal plan. I don’t have a pin and I don’t have a transeval update. Anyone else have this happen to them?

@veganmom1223 I was able to do the same thing. I am pretty sure everyone has access to the meal plan site

wait i just accidentally signed up for a 3 thousand dollar meal plan

@brilliant21 I hope you’re joking because this made me laugh lol

@mdeca12 I wish I was just I just got emailed the receipt

you deserve acceptamce on the spot for your obsession to get into this school

The Cornell database updates at 4:05 am ET every night, so I guess in theory the transeval/pin trick would work after that time on Mondays if your decision is ready.
