@grahamcracker123
In 2015’s thread, the first wave also looked all about acceptances, and the second wave had many rejections. I honestly don’t know if anything could be related with waves.
Good luck anyway!!!
Where are ya’ll seeing the “you’ll receive your decision tomorrow at 10”? Is it on the application status, or somewhere else?
When I do the PIN trick it sends me an email to reset my password.
Oh never mind I did it all the way and now it says 10 tomorrow! (Sorry for the spam!). Much love to you all and the best of luck!!! Hope to see all of you on campus next year!
@CollegeIsHardxx Which school are you applying to?
Guys, I dont think statistics matter. Everything depends on the applicant pool. Lets just have faith in our application Good luck to all!
@deliciousSteak CAS!
Thx, that’s also my observation… I hope it’s true…
@CollegeIsHardxx hey! when did your application got all checked? Good luck on tomorrow!!
I feel like the fact that my transcript wasn’t checked off until last week will screw me for my app even tho i submitted it in January…
So we’re thinking every Tuesday from here on out?
@noraaaaz that’s a good question! Maybe the beginning of April? I know I had everything checked off besides my mid-term report because I didn’t have midterms until mid-March and then we had spring break right after so it took a while to get that filled out. And then I sent it to Cornell like three times because it kept not checking off. And thanks, good luck to you, too!
Do decisions actually come out at 10 in the morning, or do you think they’ll be accessible after midnight? I’m contemplating staying up to check haha…
My guess is 10 in the morning haha. But maybe!
Has anyone received a call from Ian about being accepted into ILR?
ILR applicant. No call. In previous years, usually that indicated rejection. However, I saw from last year’s threads that many people did not receive a call and were still admitted.
I’ve been very nervous the entire day, but I’m trying to keep things in perspective. (Much) worse things have happened in my life than being denied admission to a school. I have a full ride to Mizzou and I have a good job in Missouri; I’m sober and not living in poverty anymore. Compared to where I was 8-9 years ago, I am a billion times better off.
I look at it this way: if we’re applying to transfer colleges (esp. to a school like Cornell), we’re already better off than 97% of the world. It means we’re already in college, we’re pretty good students, we’re hard workers, and we’re going to have an education no matter what. Basically, every single person on this thread will be fine regardless of the outcome.
ILR GT’s who will be able to view their decisions have not received a phone call as well. So it is likely that ILR didn’t call anyone this year
No call from Ian either.
@CollegeIsHardxx thanks for answering!! I just had every checked off last Friday, so I guess I won’t be getting result tomorrow but definitely looking forward to the good news from you guys!!
@msport and @mathguy123 you both need to call the admission office and ask if there’s any other way to submit the missing materials. That is what I did when they couldn’t mark off my college report. Everything checked out for me a week ago.
