@Transfer1013 hahaha exactly. Ive seen 0 with their transeval updated for this wave. Letsgooooo
So is the general consensus the later the decision the more likely you are to be admitted?
That we dont know. We have like 10 people talking in this thread rn. 10 cant give u a general concensus
Can someone please explain the pin trick? It’s buried deep in the thread and I can’t find it.
@ObLiViOuSx99 I was thinking so before but at this point I’m not so sure anymore. I’m pretty sure thought that in last year’s thread I still saw people getting rejected in early June.
@dkistheway Go on this link: https://decision.applyyourself.com/fl_login.aspx?id=cornellu
And click on “Forgot Pin or Password?”, then type in your email address. If it comes up pin cannot be found, a decision hasn’t been made for you yet. Otherwise an email will be sent to you with your pin and how to set your password for tomorrow morning.
Can we at least assume no update on transeval doesnt necessarily mean rejection?
Thank you!
@binklish I’d be inclined to but for me personally it would probably be better to not get my hopes up.
does having financial aid = initiated, when my decision is coming out tomorrow definitely mean a rejection?
Not gonna lie, if I don’t get in tomorrow one of the things I’m gonna miss the most is the chance to try those CollegeTown bagels again hahaha.
@criesinchinese I’ve never seen the whole “initiated” financial aid thing be a precursor to admission in prior threads. Maybe I’m just totally missing something, but I’m not even sure if that’s a valid indicator. I’m pretty sure that each Cornell school processes things differently.
@ObLiViOuSx99 I received a rejection last year around early-mid June, and that was one of the last waves. Obviously that wasn’t the same for everyone, but I think each wave usually has more rejections than acceptances. We have to keep in mind that people who got rejected are probably less inclined to post due to disappointment.
@criesinchinese Yes. Most likely, from the previous experience, it is a rejection… But, things may change…good luck
Btw, sorry for the spam, but received my pin today - CAS philosophy.
Dude I didn’t apply for aid and I have nothing on my screen at all. I wish I had either ordered or initiated so I can relax a little bit.
does anybody know what financial aid looks like when you’re waitlisted? sorry for all the anxiety spam!!
@steezxxx my transfer transcript changed to ordered and then disappeared as well. Really hope this means we got in and isn’t a false indicator
is the transfer transcript affected by other incomplete items? my federal w2-parent item is still marked as incomplete…would that affect the transfer transcript? i’m so anxious
@criesinchinese I think we know all we have the ability to know at this point. All of us should probably just find something else to occupy our time with until the initial shock wears off.
