Does Cornell waitlist students or is it all rejections/acceptances?
I know that Cornell CALS waitlists students (not sure about the other ones) since my friend was waitlisted last year
@criesinchinese @transfer9692 My pin trick didn’t work this morning, and my financial aid info is still showing “initiated” I received an email from the head of the mech eng department at around 4 PM today.
@shermama96 wow congrats man you put in the work. I’m assuming its gonna be like that for all engineers, we don’t wait Tuesday, we get notified by head of department.

Pin tricked work, will see my decision tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Applied for Human Ecology under the PAM major and have not received a phone call from Fisher. Also, my transfer transcript still says “initiated”. I think from all the signs shown that means I have been rejected. I hope that is not the case, but I will post tomorrow either way. Best of luck.

@seabass31 i’m in the same boat as you. but as @shermama96 decision shows, anything is possible—they didn’t get pin or financial aid ordered status, but still got accepted. hoping for the best, but preparing fo the worst.
I honestly think everyone is going to be surprised by my stats.
I had a 2.0 GPA in high school. I started at a CC and built up a good academic record over two years. Transferred to SU and applied to Cornell after 2 years at SU with a 3.78.
I’d have to imagine my ECs made me stand out. I’m currently typing in my phone so I’ll share with anyone whose interested when I get to my computer. What I really wanted to share was my GPA just to show everyone that you don’t need the 4.0. Good luck everyone, stay optimistic.
@shermama96 so cornell would be the second school you’ve transferred to?? i’m considering doing that too, since i didn’t get into any of my target schools this round. i’m gonna be a junior this fall, but i’m seriously toying with the idea of applying to transfer for spring admission next year @ cornell and gtown…i know that the biggest weaknesses of my applications were my essays bc they were too vague and not school specific enough. but who knows, i might have a change of heart and end up loving unc
PIN trick worked. Applying to CAS. Will see how this things goes tomorrow. Btw my financial aid is still initiated so we all know how that goes. I’m not too worried about rejection because I was accepted to another great school. All in all, I wish y’all luck tomorrow.

Tbh, I feel so weird not having a 4.0 or 3.8 GPA lol. I hope you get accepted! 
I’m going to cry lol. I just read through last year’s thread and most AEM applicants were accepted on the 23rd, so, next week. These next 13 hours will be excruciating.
