Cornell Financial Aid Question

Hello all!

On Cornell's financial aid website it says, "Regular Decision applicants: Regular Decision financial aid applications for the 2008-2009 academic year are due January 4, 2008."

However, College Board says that the deadline is 2/11, which certainly sounds more reasonable.

Does anyone have any information on this topic?

Collegeboard is often wrong. They also said the response date for ED was 12/11 when it was really 12/19. Never go by Collegeboard alone- go by what it says on the Cornell website...I mean, it is THEIR website..

The application + 2006 forms were due Jan. 4
The CSS and FAFSA are due Feb. 15.
I'm pretty sure...

yeah, college board is wrong with a lot of dates. according to the application itself, it was to be postmarked by January 4

I spoke to the FA office who confirmed that the Cornell Application and 2006 Tax Returns were due January 4th. The CSS and FAFSA are due Feb 15th and the 2007 Tax Returns (for those lucky enough to get accpeted) are due either April 15th or May 15th I forget which one

what happens if i missed the jan 4 deadline? i just looked up the deadlines today... am i still eligible for FA??

bballpg04,
i think you should call and submit anyway.

I got a nice finaid package and i submitted my financial aid stuff almost a month late (i applied ED this year), and then the package got lost in the mail... so i ended up submitting only 1 week before decisions came out........ oops. :P

OH yea,
avoid emailing (it takes them longer to reply) and call them to confirm!

Follow-ups & confirmations are always good.

my parents are divorced and I was required to submit the NONCustodial Parent form. I live with my mom and my dad has tax issues. I submitted the NONCustodial Parent Waiver Form a month plus late and still go an amazing package. don't worry
