<p>I didn't major in food science, but I took a bunch of classes in the department. Here's what I can tell you: I think there are more than 25 kids a year. I might be wrong, but from what I heard, it's a pretty popular major at Cornell. It's a highly respected major at Cornell, being both sciencey and lots of fun (you get to make ice cream for one of your classes). The only thing is the food science building is rather far from central campus, near the vet school.</p>
<p>One of my friends is in food science, but that's about all I can tell you about them.</p>
