Cornell Food Science

Does anyone know how reputable Cornell's food science program in the CALS is? I am looking to apply there.

Cornell’s food science program is one of the best in the world. I’m a current student and I absolutely love it. The faculty is great, class sizes are small, and it has such a great community feeling. I highly recommend coming for a campus visit!

Food science is a great field to get into. It’s a rapidly growing field and there are often more jobs than candidates, so it’s very easy to get internships and a job, compared to other majors. And with the world food crisis on our hands, food science is going to become extremely important this century. Plus, who doesn’t like learning about food?

For other schools with food science programs, here’s a list of schools with approved programs: [IFT - Approved Undergraduate Programs](http://www.ift.org/cms/?pid=1000426)

Good luck!
