<p>Cornell and the city of Ithaca attract many people who are health-conscious, fitness-conscious, and environment-conscious. It is part of the Cornell and Ithaca identity. I think it stems from Cornell’s location and from Cornell’s history as a Land Grant university. Over the years, many Cornell graduates have settled in Ithaca. Many Cornell, Ithaca College, and SUNY Cortland faculty live in Ithaca.</p>
