Cornell grad school + work on campus- double?

Hello,

I'm a graduate MEng student at Cornell and I was wondering if you guys think its possible to be a full time student (16 credits) and work on campus 5-8 hours a week.
Plus, I'd want to be part of 2 clubs on campus (I'm a co-founder of one of them).

Do you think work is too much? How is the course work load at Cornell?

I'm a new grad student and I don't really know if I should expect for something crazy from the courses I'm taking.

The pay is not great and the money won't make a big difference :\ but just thought cause I got invited for a interview.

Thanks.

If you’re not working on something relevant to your future career and the money isn’t necessary, I would forgo work.

If you’re just working in the dining halls, no one is going to care that you worked there.

Hey kyt,

No, it’s not something related to my career. The job is a lab assistant at CIT.
I think you are right here…

Thanks.
