Has anyone received an interview for Cornell University HEOP?
More specifically for the college of engineering and college of arts and sciences
are there even interviews for HEOP?
Yes there are interviews. I called the heop office and they said that it is not required but without one you have a slim chance of getting in. Did you apply to the heop program?
How do you get an interview? I applied for HEOP and never got an interview.
Cornell decides who does and doesn’t get an interview.
Oh well guess I got rejected
I guess I did too
So if you do not get an interview, your likely rejected?
I would assume unless you got in through regular and not through HEOP
I believe that is correct. I spoke to the college advisor at my school and also confirmed that it is important to get an interview or else the chances of getting selected are slim.
does heop get likely letters and diversity hosting invites
I’m not sure if they do or don’t
is it possible to contact the heop office and inquire about your applications
I think so
The thing is I am not sure if I even qualify for heop. Financially yes but academically my sat scores might be a little too high I guess. ( I got a 1910). Nonetheless, I submitted the heop documents, but have not received no email or letters whatsoever. When I called, I was really not given no answers regarding my application
What school did you apply to? And if you don’t qualify for heop academically then I think they will move your application to regular decision.
College of engineering!
well i did get an “interview”
but it was an ‘alumni contact’ where we meet up at a coffee shop and talk about cornell, my major and what i wanna do in cornell etc…but htat was back in january ish
and I did CAS as a physics major.
Def qualifies financially, and academically, with my SAT score I am def inadmissible through regular
Well we should be hearing back soon from Cornell. I believe the date is March 14th
uhm didn’t march 14th already pass? @Tee1234
