I applied to CAS as a physics major as well and I got a likely on Friday. The likely letter doesn’t indicate whether you’ve been admitted reg or through HEOP, but I’m operating under the assumption it’s been through HEOP given my SAT scores.

@snoogleki my gpa is on par with Cornell’s average, but my sat was 1250/1890, a little lacking. I guess I compensated with everything else.

Did they email you any information after you completed the questionnaire for HEOP? Or ask for your financial documents?

I called the lady yesterday but she said there’s no interviews for HEOP at all. so idk I’m really nervous. I haven’t received anything.
I haven’t recieved anything either. At this point only thing we can do is hope for the best.

Hey, first time user here! I recently was invited to the Diversity Hosting event, meaning I got into Cornell. I did apply through HEOP, but am not sure if I was accepted through the program or not. I applied to the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. My stats are as follows (low, I know. Maybe I did get in through HEOP after all)
97% GPA
First time SAT:
CR: 620
M: 640
W: 530
Second time SAT:
CR: 560
M: 640
W: 570
Subject Tests:
Biology M: 530
Math 1: 620
OMG @NorthEastCoast we have really similar stats besides my SAT is slightly lower (680M 550CR, yea I’m illiterate )and i have a 93.6% GPA…
and with subject test, physic i got a 620 and M2 i got a 680…didn’t get diversity hosting letter…but UGHHH SO SCARED

I applied to both Cornell and Columbia for heop. I didn’t get an interview from either of them 
My GPA was a 90 unweighted, and my SAT was a 1800.
I’m really nervous. Decisions come out in 3 more days.
