i'm sueing this cn8 for emotional trauma...how much do u think i'll get???

is the game over???

hahaha, you are becoming american already Arjun, ready to sue at a moments notice! ;) The game is now going into the 3rd overtime

its also on ESPNU i believe, but I dont get that

is it available anywhere else online???

It's still not back yet.. ugh

3rd overtime...jeez, those boys must be getting mad tired. Just need 1 goal!!!

oh my God, that was awful

They played so hard and it came down to a simple one-timer for the win... Ouch.

Good effort boys!! We're all proud.

despite the loss, wisconsin is and will always be a safety school for Cornell ;)

Cornell lost?

Oh well.. It was a strong effort for everybody on the team (even for McKee, which was surprising). Good work Big Red!

ughhh what a way lose, 100 whatever minutes of scoreless hockey to lose on a simple onetimer. mckee was as amazing as he was all of last year and was helpless on that final shot. great game though. thats it for CU hockey till next season i suppose.

Watched the game from a bar w/ a friend. Real tough way to lose but McKee didn't have much of a chance on that final shot.

i went to bed yesterday hoping that with the morning all fears of a loss would be wiped away. At this moment, it still hasn't sunk in that we didn't win. Even after 100 minutes of bone-crushing, intense competition. Even after what seemed like a stellar perfomance from the goalee (hey, i don't know much...it's my first rendevouz with hockey). It all seems so unreal.
At this moment, I feel a great sense of loss. How could this happen...AND WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THE REDDIES SCORE WHEN THEY HAD THE BEST CHANCE ROUND ABOUT THE 90th MINUTE!!!!! AND YOU CALL THAT PUCK POSSESSION!!! MY 5YR OLD COUSIN COULD HAVE HELD THE PUCK BETTER!!!!!
ahh...the frustration is so agonising!

Wow, Arjun you're so dramatic haha
You should be a sports commentator

Gomestar, atleast Wisconsin is busy producing CEOs of Fortune 500s as opposed to Bell Hops and Gorge jumpers...

jk. Anyway, it was an amazing game. Both teams hit the post a few times, both teams had amazing shots, both teams were kept in the game by the goalie a few times. I was sad that someone had to lose.

"atleast Wisconsin is busy producing CEOs of Fortune 500s as opposed to Bell Hops and Gorge jumpers"

oh...are u thinking ur on the Cornell College (that other Cornell which refuses to change its name) forum by any chance...because as far as i know Cornell University has been a manufacturing centre of the best in the world while ur univs busy being in the hot seat for its not so good policies

jk. yeah...great game...sad that i had to miss the winning goal...BUT U HAD HOME GROUND ADVANTAGE!!!!

Home ice would be the term.

Also, c'mon, don't edit your post. It's not as fun. And yeah, there has been pleanty of things the UW administration has been on the hot seat. A lot of that was uncovered by UW-Madison student journalists. Ah...democracy in action.

hey i just thought the article i posted before i edited would hurt some UWisc sentiments... ;)

I dont think they care because of all the other positive news stories, maybe like this http://www.news.wisc.edu/12213.html

hmmm...a bias and irrational place is a loser's paradise

"Although the University (and city of Madison) has enjoyed a progressive reputation, some would argue this is swiftly becoming a popular myth. Recently the university has come under fire regarding its stance on diversity, particularly its relatively low rate of attracting and keeping qualified students of color. Some companies have reportedly refrained from recruiting at the university for this reason, claiming that graduates of UW-Madison are "cultural klutzes." In at least one botched attempt to improve UW-Madison's public image, the head of a black student was digitally superimposed (or "Photoshopped") into another photo of white students seated at a football game. This doctored photo was used as the cover of an admissions booklet. The black student had not given his consent, and the incident quickly grew into an embarassing flap.

Currently the university is the only university in the Big Ten Conference that does not provide same-sex domestic partner benefits for its employees. Adding to this problem is the recently proposed constitutional amendment that would ban not only same-sex marriages, but also "anything substantially similar to marriage," which may include domestic partnerships and civil unions for both straight and same-sex couples. This amendment has been placed on the ballot for November 2006, and if it passes, the University, being a state-run institution, will be permanently blocked from offering domestic partnership benefits for its employees. John Wiley, Chancellor of the University of WisconsinMadison, is currently among those who have publicly opposed the constitutional ban and believes it could hurt the University by discouraging qualified candidates from seeking employment, as well as further tarnishing the public image of a school that has otherwise been considered progressive and forward-thinking."

frankly i don't c how this 1 achievment makes u a succeful university...and has it helped ur standings in the ranking???
naah!

the problem is ur place is too prejudiced and its administeration is...well...not too good.

if u guys had to resort to electronically makin a white a black just to promote ur place...hmmm...anythins possible

and frankly...can ur alma mater ever match this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornellians
