M-760
SAT II:
bio- 700
chemistry- 710

college GPA: 3.93
college honors program

im applying as a sophomore transfer. SAT scores are optional. should i send them in??

sat scores are optional?

lreds, it depends on the college within Cornell. ILR doesn't require SAT scores either for transfer students.

punkstar, I think that depends how you did. If your scores are either average or above average for Cornell, send them. If they aren't, then take advantage of your ability not to send them.

an interview is required however correct?

Yes for the hotel school, interviews are required. That may take precedence over some of the stats listed here (and those unlisted factors).

SATS for the Hotel school are not optional....Other than that I think you have a really good shot. Where are you transferring and what are your reasons for transferring? << that is going to be crucial for admission to the Hotel School

SAT's for ILR are optional actually I just checked.

I go to cornell right now, and from what i've seen, your academic stats are a lot better than most hotelies i've met. in fact, my bf from high school had your SAT score and a 4.0 unweighted (straight A's) and got deferred.
the hotel school is mostly looking for suave, outgoing people whom they feel will succeed in business. Your stats are wayyy over their acceptance standards. if i were you, i'll focus on the essay and ESPECIALLY THE INTERVIEW.

GOOD LUCK!!! =)

Try to write down as many extra curriculum as possible. They want very active and motivated students
