Hey guys. What's the hotel school like at Cornell? I'm interested, but to be honest I have no idea what it's like. Also, what are the admissions stats like? To be honest I have a low GPA and low ACT (by my standards), but have taken APs and Honors at my school. If you can tell me anything about it, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks guys.

*** Cornell? First Emory, then Scranton, Then Oregon, Then Jackson Lee, then Willam and Mary, then Phonix online college, and now Cornell? **? Lol… What can a boy do. And are you going to do in hotel managing? They don’t have Xbiox’s in hotels? I did see a local opening at the mobil station if your interested in gas managing? While I was there I also found an out of order sign on the bathroom, if your interested in bathroom managment you can probalby get a job there? Ultimatley, you need to get a “managment” degree on where the f##k you want to go to college because you switch it every day.
Go on xboix, i’m goin on.

Disregarding that last post, is it more like actual business management and ownership, etc., or is it more like being hospitable to people? Expecting the former.

It’s a bit of both actually.

How the f##k do you know what it is tommy? Have you ever been to the meeting there or researched the school? Get your priorities in line and stop running yo lip. Neither of us are getting into Cornell anyways… Its a fact, face it. We’ll be lucky to get into scranton and lee…

admissions are competitive…grades and sats do matter, experience or demonstrated interest is very important…i.e. a job, not necessarily an “nternship” but any service oriented job that shows yu re truly interested in the focus of the Hotel
School

Thanks for the great response Memphis. I really had a misrepresented view of this program. Also is the Hotel Managment school easier to get into than regular Cornell. I have a 3.9 weighted and a 30 ACT.

no it is not easier to get into if you have not demonstrated interest…high grades and sats will not do it for you.
