Hi everyone! I am visiting Cornell at the end of June and I am going specifically to sit down for a human ecology information session as part of the tour. I’ve heard that because human ecology is one the lesser known and popular colleges at Cornell, that the session is almost like an informal interview. Is this true?! And if anyone did go through this, what did they ask you? Thanks!!
You nailed it, they essentially ask you “Why Us” and you give like a 5 min respones
ohhhh boy haha does it have any affect on admissions? @LordSwag
Probably not, but the admission counselor did take notes when we talked
@LordSwag is that all they asked you? Visiting tomorrow and I’m not sure if I should be nervous or not lol.
When my D went (she just graduated), they had each student introduce themselves, tell where they were from, etc. They then had them fill out on information profile on themselves. The ad con did look hers over & told her to get her SAT scores up.
@csdad I didn’t take the SAT yet. I just took the ACT yesterday so I don’t have any standardized test scores besides AP scores form last year. They won’t take effect on admission will they?
Only effect it will have is that you would have less time to get them to a high enough level if they are low. My D ended up taking SAT 3 times, but did better on the ACT, which she only took once.
