Cornell (ILR) and others

<p>Chances at these schools
Hi, I know there are a lot of "ifs" hear because my extra currics depends on what the schools need that year, but any info would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Cornell ILR (will prob go ED here), Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Northwestern, U Chicago, Swarthmore, Haverford , Vassar , JHU/Peabody(DD)</p>

<p>Junior, white male.
GPA as of beginning of junior year- UW 3.82, W 3.9 (we don't weight all honors courses.) After this year, my UW will go down, my weighted not so much
SAT-2220 (720 R, 740 M, 760 W)
National Merit Qualifier
16th ranked school in nation, does not rank
I have lot of courses, will graduate with at least 10 AP's.
SAT II
Chem- 730, Math I- 720</p>

<p>Extra currics-
football JV 2 years, 1 year captain
Lacrosse 2 years JV, will have 2 years varsity
Debate/Model Congress-1st on Long Island, National Tournament (first in school history), Semi-Finalist in States (got robbed), team captain
Brainstormers-was on local (long island) tv show for this
Science Club
CELLO
-playing since 4th grade,
-founder and president of tri-m (music honor society),
-principal cellist in what has been called the nations best youth orchestra (had color picture in NY times)-play in Carnegie Hall three times a season,
-principal cellist at allstate(NY),
-principal cellist at NYSSSA summer program,
won numerous scholarships,
-masterclasses/lessons with many famous musicians (NY Phil ppl and others), -I have my own students that I teach.</p>

<p>D is completing her soph year in ILR. I think you have a very good shot in getting in. They love Debate/model congress & leadership- Your sports and musical background also shows you to be a very well rounded student. Adding ED and a visit- (do ILR admission tour where you meet with ILR Admission staff as they conduct the tour or at least they did a few years ago) I think your chances are really good.</p>
