I saw on Cornell's admissions website for its arts and sciences school that three SAT Subject Tests were required. Do these tests play a significant role in admissions, and which would you recommend for a aspiring physics major? Also, would studying be recommended for these, and what study books would you recommend?

Are you sure it isn’t just two they require?

Ooops yeah it is two

You’d obviously want to take the SAT II for physics. I’d recommend you take the other in something that you’re strong in. You can find study books online via Amazon (check the reviews), and you should definitely study. You can also ask questions of a current student (Cornell Ambassador program) - [Contact a Student | Admissions](http://admissions.cornell.edu/contact/contact-student).
