Cornell international financial aid documents?

I need a little clarification. Do international students have to send their tax returns forms, passport page scan etc before Feb 15 or is it only to be sent if explicitly requested by Cornell?
The website suggests that it has to be sent on request but on one of the threads one of the ccers has claimed that they have sent the documents without a request from cornell.
What has to be done? Any ideas?

You don’t have to send in anything other than the CSS Profile. Trust the Cornell site.

Thanks a lot

Actually you have to send them but its only on their request as is said on the site. I didn’t send mine until they requested it. They informed me through an email.

Well when did your request come?

About two weeks to my decision but that was ED. I don’t know how different it is from RD.

CSS Profile only!! :)

They ask for your documents only if you are in consideration for being accepted!! :stuck_out_tongue:
Haha!! This is just what I’ve inferred & not some fact though!

Well then I really hope to get one. Atleast it would be nice to know that I was considered for a place.

Seems legit though. Those of us int’ls who got it eventually got accepted

rishav17 is a genius:p

has any international received request for passport copy and income tax returns?

^Same question

Hi, I am Dada from Dhaka, Bangladesh. My friend from the same school got an email from Cornell to send the latest copy of tax returns of his parents and copy of his passport by 15 March and day before yesterday he sent those.

I also applied to Cornell but didn’t got any mail of that sort.

Thanks.
