There’s quite a few.

^ And it even it all out, we have Weil.

Lego like buildings, FTW.

lot of the older buildings have ivy on them…but the inside sucks lol…i guess that’s a tradeoff?

Do the older buildings in all the Ivies suck?

No, I’d say plenty of them have been renovated. When I was there this summer, a lot of the “classic” Cornell buildings and libraries struck me because of the respect they commanded with their age but they’ve all been modernly equipped. They may look and feel “old” on the inside, but they still function as modern buildings.

And Cornell is in the midst of constructing a brand new Physical Sciences building right across the street from the Arts Quad. So even if the older ones “suck,” new ones are springing up.

Cornell’s campus is beautiful, unless you’re walking UP the Slope.

the only old building that “sucks” is rand. reasons why we need milstein

^ I’ve been in Rand a total of 4 times.

Every time, all I could think was “Omg, are their lungs dead or what?”
Particle board and wood glue smell like death.

Walking up the slope is crappy, but you’ll get used to it (You can totally blast your legs too!)

@dococtopi:

Cornell Summer College, ahhh, the memories… Remember the showers in Donlon?

The showers in Baker are marginally better…

^^mix in fumes from spray painting and all of that…toxic glues…no air circulation or insulation…

And we wonder why the architecture students act the way they do.

^lack of sleep + lots of stress
