Cornell MEng vs U of Minnesota MS in mechanical engineering?

I have been admitted to both programs in mechanical engineering and now I'm indecisive.

Myself:
(1) I am an international student, and have been in Minnesota for 8 years now.
(2) I have an undergrad degree in physics.
(3) I don't plan to get a PHD and intend to find a job after masters.

Cornell MEng pros:
(1) engineering department is highly ranked
(2) 1 year degree
U of M pros:
(1) engineering department is highly ranked (not as high as Cornell though)
(2) I have visited their MS program and think it fits me very well

Cornell MEng cons:
(1) I don't really know about the program details.
(2) Some think ME is less valuable than a MS
(3) I only have <1 year to search for job as an international student
U of M cons:
(1) It is in Minnesota. Again. Life in Minnesota for 10 years? Sounds like fun.

Any advise please? Thank you very much.
