<p>Hey, have any of you guys ever done this program? I'm interested in it, but the application says that you need to write an essay on what you're looking for... the thing is, I'm not exactly sure what they really offer, so... yeah. Does anybody have any pointers? What do you do there? Do you just help around, or do you actually get to do your own research and experiments? Is it fun/a good experience?</p>

<p>Yea, I'm curious too, especially seeing as it's free and give you travel money and doesn't require transcripts, test scores or recs... sounds too good, maybe I missed some stuff</p>

<p>well then its certainly not worth applying to. if you are unsure what you are going to do and spend a month of your summer in, there is no point. like programs like rsi give you a proper outlines and you know what to expect. unless you want to waste your summer doing something boring, you wouldnt apply.</p>

<p>it's a letter of intent right? i just elaborated on my interest in research and how the program would help me gain more experience, i talked a little about previous research experiences. but since i didn't get in, you probably shouldn't listen to me. lol.</p>
