Cornell or Johns Hopkins?

Before I start, let me clarify that I am a high school Junior, who's beginning to look more into college options. I'm an Asian female from the Midwest. Briefly, as of now, my UW GPA is 3.74 and my ACT is 30, but I know it'll go up at least one more point by spring. My extracurricular are okay, but nothing really stands out.

So back to my question:

Would I have a better chance of getting into Cornell applying ED, with a legacy (my grandmother) or would I have a better chance of getting into Johns Hopkins ED? Should I even bother to apply ED at all to either of them? I REALLY want to go to Cornell, btw. Suggestions? And don't tell me that I'm too young, because I'm dead serious about college and this question has been plaguing me for ages.

Cornell - reach
JHU - match
