Cornell or UPenn

I am transfer student and got into Cornell already. If I get into UPenn, what school which would be a better choice? I would like to study Political Science and possibly Economics. I would also like to join a frat. What are the pros and cons of each school in terms of a transfer student?

my son went 3 years to Cornell and hated it. Now he’s looking for somewhere else to go to finish.

bucca - You are saying that in jest, right? I don’t mean hating Cornell part, but about transferring senior year.

OP - You should go where you feel a better fit. Greek life is pretty prominent at Cornell. Are you going to be a sophomore? As a sophomore it would easy for to join in Jan.

@bucca - … couldn’t help but notice that the poster was vainly attempting to disparage Cornell 4 years ago, in 2005, on these boards. S/he tried to say that Cornell’s Nobel prizes were a very long time ago while not realizing that two Cornellian’s received the honor in 1996 after six additional Cornell alums in prior years.

This topic has been discussed to death. I don’t think there is more to say.

Who transfers schools after the third year? For most schools, you need to stay a minimum of 4 semesters to graduate.

Unless you are going to Wharton, I wouldn’t go to UPenn. Go with Cornell.
