Cornell or Williams?

HS senior from NJ.

I started varsity football all four years. Looking to walk on to a team freshman year. Which school shows a better chance?

I plan on majoring in economics and go to law school or go straight into business after college.

Which school is more prestigious, better academics and more selling to employers?

thanks

I would go to Williams. It is better academically.
BTW, congrats on getting into two wonderful schools.

Ditto about Williams -- you'll probably wind up playing ball for them & they have a great internship program with top Wall St. firms for jr. year for econ majors -- also extensive & enthusiastic alumni network -- Go to Wms --IMHO

Cornell probably has more name recognition to the average person, but I'd go with Williams.

Visit each school and see which one you feel more comfortable at, because besides both being prestigious, the schools are very different in a lot of ways.

If I had a choice to choose between Cornell and Williams, I would chose Cornell. The reason is because Cornell is probably more "known," and it is an Ivy. However, you should visit the campuses of both schools to see which one best suits you.

Cornell's football team is not great. If you're good, you can probably make the team as a walk on.

They're two very different schools. You're comparing a huge well-known research institution to a LAC. I would check out both schools and see which one you like better. Did you apply to AEM at Cornell?
