<p>Next time you have a question, "I've been accepted to Cornell AND xxxxx University. Which one should I attend??"</p>
<p>Well, just refer to this intuitive list, and you'll go far:</p>
<p>Here's the most intuitive line-up, assuming you've been accepted to all of these:</p>
<ul>
<li><p>IVY LEAGUE *
Cornell v. Harvard: Harvard. (for the 'name' and for 100% financial aid)
Cornell v. Yale: Yale. (for career purposes)
Cornell v. Princeton: Princeton (for career purposes)
Cornell v. Columbia: Leaning towards Columbia...you'll honestly have to visit both campuses on this one.
Cornell v. Dartmouth: Cornell (Dartmouth? really? seriously? it's actually on the map?)
Cornell v. Penn CAS: Cornell (Penn CAS isn't famous for anything. Cornell is famous for all the important inventions we have today. Penn is only famous for Wharton)
Cornell v. Penn Wharton: Wharton (BUT, given the fact that Whartonites have no job prospects now, go with Cornell on this one)
Cornell v. Brown: Cornell (Brown? Cool man. My favorite color is Green. So what school do you go to?)</p></li>
<li><p>OTHERS *
Cornell v. MIT: Cornell (MIT will drive you insane.)
Cornell v. Stanford: Stanford
Cornell v. Duke: Cornell (pretty much the same, except for Cornell's Ivy Brandname and it's up North)
Cornell v. UVA + Scholarship + InState Tuition: UVA (after the economy gets better, transfer back to Cornell)
Cornell v. UMichigan + Scholarship + In State Tuition: UMich. (save with UVA. same some money)
Cornell v. All other Cases: Cornell.</p></li>
</ul>
<p>I am a future cornell student and I am in love with the school but I think your list is stupid, grossly oversimplifyes the college selection process and does not give enough credit to our peer schools.</p>
<p>All ivies provide 100% financial aid based on need. Cornall also recently improved their financial aid so it’s not that bad relative to the other ivies.</p>
<p>I say it comes down to fit. Who cares about prestige? They are ALL great colleges. Choose a college that fits you best and a college that you enjoy.</p>
<p>This list seems to shoehorn people into a one size fits all, when that is clearly not the case. </p>
<p>Also, for the type of student that is seriously considering MIT, and not just for the name, then MIT would be a much better school both in terms of fit and academics.</p>
