I am going to attend Cornell as a junior transfer studying Operation Research and Engineering this Fall. I heard that ORE placement is decent on Wall St. Any Cornell alumni or current students can input more details about ORE recruitment?

I met someone at Barclays Cap S&T from Cornell OR in the summer analyst class, he said there were a few others too from Cornell there

I would think that since you are a transfer, you need to prove yourself at Cornell. You better get a 3.5 or higher your first semester to be considered for an internship And you should (maybe must) get an internship to get a chance at accomplishing your goals.

Thanks for your advice! Yes, I will try hard to get a good GPA at Cornell. I got one decent summer internship before in Accenture and another 1 year Co-op in Technicolor SA, but they are all more about consulting and IT. Will these work experience look good when I am applying for IBD next summer?

that’s a great program. if you do well grade-wise, i think you’ll be good for some quantitative s&t jobs.
