Cornell Physics Departmental Placement Test

Ok, so let me explain my situation first:

Today i was supposed to take a make-up/late AP Physics C: Mechanics exam (because of other IB conflicts) but it turns out that my coordinator orded the E & M instead of M so i couldn't take it. Then I read online that I could take a Physics Departmental Placement Test: here's the link: http://www.physics.cornell.edu/undergraduate/advanced-standing-exams/

so my question is, has anyone ever taken the physics 112 or any other placement exams? are they like the AP tests or harder?

Bu Uu Uu Mp

I've taken a math placement test...it's essentially an old final for the class. My advice is get the book (they use Young's University Physics) and do some problems, i think up to ch 16...maybe fewer. I didn't take 112, but from my experience from 213 is that for the tests, they draw on a lot of material directly from lecture or labs, which might make it hard for you to study for it.

Ooo I think I better take this so I can get credit for college classes I took. Thanks for starting this thread.
