Is there a database or something that holds all the past exams? Or maybe one that we can see how they are?

Is there a link that tells you what will be on the exam? A syllabus of sorts? I heard the exams are harder than the classes themselves so...yeah.

I’ve heard(I didn’t actually take any of them) the exams are basically the previous years final. This is difficult because your taking a final for a class you didn’t take. You may know the material, but you didn’t learn it in the way the class was taught and are not familiar with how the teacher makes and grades the tests. Unlike say a standardized exam like the AP exam which is intended to be taken by a variety of students with all sorts of different teachers so it designed for this purpose and is more generalized and less specific. The final exam of a class is designed to be taken by students who took that specific class, not students who simply are knowledgeable about the subject.

The final exam (if the prof chooses to post it) is posted on a system (Blackboard) that is not accessible unless you are a Cornell student and are enrolled in the class.

Once you get a netid, you can manually enroll yourself in previous classes if you want to take a look at the course materials. Some classes might not all be there and this class might show up on you blackboard account for semesters to come (there is no way to delete courses)! They recently cleaned up blackboard, so a lot of old courses are gone now…

The tests are hard, so if you take one, be sure to review the material during the summer.
