Lol @ lifeisbeautiful9 yep we I noticed that we are both applying to Brown and Cornell. My dream is to become a doctor and as for my major, I am currently undecided though I am interested in biology.

Oh haha. Yeah there are a lot of premeds at Cornell (I think)… what’s your top choice school??

I like both but definitely Brown

This is going to be a loooong wait til April. :/

Do they send us an email or an online portal or postal mail?

Human Ecology for Biology and Society major… Also planning on med school after college, but I’m not sure

Got an interview call from Cornell on the 24th :)

College of Engineering

I though the college of engineering didn’t conduct interviews.

Apparently, they do now :)

Maybe it’s just geographical proximity because my interviewer lives just 700 meters from my house :P

Applying engineering, and have had enough waiting already! Where else have the rest of you applied?

I applied to ILR. I’ve also applied to Yale (deferred), Michigan (admitted), Vassar, Grinnell, Dartmouth, Notre Dame, and some safeties.

Oh I didn’t get an interview and I live by. Should I be worried?
Applying for Engineering as well!

I’m so freakishly scared. I have an interview coming up and I have no idea what to expect.
I applied for their communication program.

This thread is dying
In an attempt to revive - Do you guys have any midterms?

I applied CAS! Just got contacted about my interview
I also applied to Brown (deferred), Princeton, Penn, Williams, Duke, Vandy, Wesleyan, Tulane (accepted), Fordham (accepted), and Binghamton (accepted)

@lexieam, there are interviews for CAS now?

Yes, midterms are crap. I managed to maintain an A in Ap calc-my worst subject- all semester and then the final screwed me, and i got bumped down to an A-. Now as pathetic as it sounds whining about an A-, you guys of all people can probably empathize.

Also. What the crap! Our class is so competitive! 37673 applicants.
I crunched the numbers a bit cuz i mean. What else are we gonna do…

Using last year’s profile proportions*:
3602 would have been ED apps.
1270 of these^ would have been accepted.
34071 would be RD apps.
~5268 of these^ will be accepted.
-Which gives us a regular decision admit rate of about 15.46%.
*Proportions generated from the class of 2015 profile.

Oh and here’s a link to a magic eight ball.
[Magic Eight Ball CGI](http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~ssanty/cgi-bin/eightball.cgi)

You know what to do.

Good luck to all the applicants! Actually I believe the RD admit rate this year will be lower than you project. The Class of 2015 was overenrolled, as yield spiked 3% higher than the prior year. Using the same yield as 2015, about 4900 will be admitted RD, or less than 14.4%.

Yield might be even higher because of Harvard and Princeton’s EA programs.

i know that getting into Cornell Hotel is veryy hard.
so is there a easiest college to get into?
(i know they say that that’s not the case…but i doubt that…)
what do u guys think>?
