Cornell RD Class of 2022 Applicant Thread

@anxiouswreck I applied to CALS too and just checked the status of my supplement and it’s not checked off as if they received it. I’m not really sure why since I submitted it before the deadline, as I’m sure you did too.

Has anyone clicked their financial aid link and it now says there are no to don’t items? there is no longer a list there.

I took this duplicate message out

to do items

According to the Cornell portal,

"Due to our January 2nd deadline, documents sent electronically or by mail will take approximately 2-3 weeks to be received, processed, and then appear on your application status. "

So I guess check back in a couple weeks for the real status.

Hi everyone! I didn’t think Cornell had the upload resume option until my friend who applied said she uploaded one. I checked Common App and apparently the website checked off the category and I didn’t even upload anything! I know it’s optional, but I now feel as if this puts me at a disadvantage compared to other applicants. Should I call admissions or something to see if I can send one in or should I just leave it?

can someone pls share the link where we can track our application status for cornell. Tx

Should I worry because I still haven’t received the portal info? I submitted my app on January 2nd.

It takes a while for Cornell to setup the portal.

You can go to https://applicantid.cornell.edu/ApplIDManagement/, and click “I forgot my ApplicantID and Password.” if they already setup your account but the email got lost, they’ll send you another email with ApplicantID and new activation PIN. However, if they haven’t setup your account, you won’t get anything back.

Does it say the writing supplement is missing for anyone else?

@bigbrewer299 mine says that too

@Kale2000 ok cool. That’s probably just the 2-3 week delay in downloading online stuff

I was flipping out about that stuff. Why is there such a delay?

where do we track? Can some one pls share the link. https://applicantid.cornell.edu/ApplIDManagement/ this link as only login support info

@UmaSridhar https://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/first-year-applicants/check-application-status

@yep210 thanks… i am assuming writing and other recommendations are shown pending for all.

good luck to everyone who applied! I applied for college of arts and sciences

where the rest of my college of human ecology pals at

i keep hearing its more of a “fit” school, how much truth do you think that holds

I applied for dyson and was offered an interview today. How much impact if any does this have on my application? Also are they selective about who’s offered one?

@WashUH0peful Not really helpful unless you’re one of the best applicants the interviewer has ever had and really roots for you. Even then you’d have to be on the fence.
