As we near the end of regular decision application review for Cornell’s Class of 2023, we would like to share with you important information regarding admission decision notification.
You will be able to view your admission decision online, Thursday, March 28, beginning at 7 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). You will receive an email on Thursday, with information detailing how to view your decision.
@yellow3gold I may PM u if u want, but could take a guess anyways.
@TheBeyonder Thats a possibility for the other 2. I mean 1 of my friend’s with me rn who applied and I’m pretty sure he didnt. He was checking his inbox right beside me. Idk what this definitely means, but yeah. I saw what I saw.
Edit: Man this Time Out BS is really getting to me.
I doubt the timing of the email means anything in terms of admissions, since it’s just a general email. Probably they’re just sending it randomly or in order of name, location, intended school or major, etc.
@TheGuy1 “LL certainly doesnt explicitly state and acceptance, though it can be inferred to be an acceptance”
Last years Likely Letter had in its first paragraph the following “We wanted to contact you before other students receive their decisions later this month to let you know the Admissions Committee enthusiastically expects to formally offer you admission as a member of the class of 2022”
Why did Cornell admissions send that email this morning when the checklist in the portal has been missing for about a week and the portal itself contains pretty much the same information as the email from this morning?
@Nocreativity1 I’m pretty sure thats true, but many blogs/pages state it the way i was expressing it. So i thought its true. Apologies. I mean definitely its a 100% guarantees admit letter statistically so theres no disparity anyways.
