No FA arrived today. I was told that they only work until 4pm and won’t be working this weekend…just says something about their commitment (or lack thereof) to this process. So disappointed in this school.

I think my son will commit to Johns Hopkins. He will probably stay on the Cornell list to see what they end up giving him but I’m pretty sure my son won’t want to switch once he’s made his decision.

My twins both got in. The one who got into Dyson, got two letters (one had a handwritten note from the admission’s officer complimenting her on her essay, which I have NEVER seen before!) It came shortly after Ivy Day. It came with a large Cornell sticker and a small pennant. My other daughter who got into the College of Human Ecology still hasn’t received anything in the mail. They have both decided to attend a different university, so I probably won’t be on here any more. Hopefully, someone hoping to get in off waitlist will get some good news very soon! My daughter turned down her Cornell (engineering) offer today… kind of sad as she is legacy (grandparents and both parents). She is heading to UPenn which is a better fit for her.

My son also turned down double legacy for Notre Dame. I’m sad because I loved Cornell, but I think it’s the best choice for him!

He did really well. He ended up with 3 full rides. Pitt, Udel and Fordham. Then he was accepted to Columbia, Penn and Yale. It was an agonizing decision lol but he chose Yale. Really hard to pass up those free rides though. Good luck to your daughter.

Haha welllll they had their opportunity to go to college and took it (at Cornell) and now it’s her chance to pave the way for herself at Penn! Not a bad option at all!!

Anyone receive an acceptance package in the mail yet?
My D21 committed last week! It was a long college search and ended with a tough choice but she made it and I’m very proud of her!
