Yeah I got an email saying “I will be admitted”!!!

What college ? If you don’t mind me asking!

It does mean we will get in.
Let me quote a paragraph from the email:

Blockquote
Although the Ivy League schools will not officially notify students about admission decisions until early next month, it may help you with your college planning to know that you will very likely be admitted to Cornell University. We hope this advance notice will encourage you to learn more about both Cornell’s College of Arts & Sciences and the Milstein Program in particular. Early next month you will receive your official acceptance notification from Cornell, with links to the University’s welcome materials. In addition to this, we will be in touch about one last step in the selection process for the Milstein program.

did anyone get a likely for ILR?

No, I mean I know we got into Cornell but I’m talking about the Milstein Program in particular. I thought we had to do interviews before we were accepted?
From the website:
“The director and faculty selection committee will review application materials and a select group of applicants will be contacted in March and invited to schedule an interview. Interviews of Milstein finalists will be conducted either virtually or in person during April, and decisions will be released to interviewees prior to May 1st.”
I might be interpreting it wrong

WOWW congrats to everyone!! if it’s no trouble to anyone, can someone copy and paste the email if they feel comfortable i’m just curious haha if not its fine too

Dear ,

Your application to Cornell University has been reviewed by the admissions selection committee, and I am writing to let you know that you will be offered admission to Cornell. Although the Ivy League schools won’t officially notify students of their admission decisions until early next month, we wanted to share this good news with you now.

I hope this advance notice of your admission to Cornell will encourage you to learn more about this extraordinary institution. We will be reaching out in the weeks ahead to invite you to take advantage of opportunities to connect, ask questions, and learn more, so that you may begin to see yourself as part of the Cornell community and consider all of the meaningful ways you can contribute as a student here.

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to complete and submit your Cornell financial aid application as soon as possible, if you will need financial assistance in order to attend. We have financial aid outreach specialists who are available to assist you. Feel free to email your questions about financial aid to finaidoutreach@cornell.edu.

Additionally, you are welcome to explore diversity resources and student life at Cornell. If you have questions, the Diversity Outreach Team would love to hear from you. Please feel free to email diversity@cornell.edu if we can be of assistance.

Please accept my congratulations on your many achievements! I wish you the very best as you complete your senior year, and I look forward to the possibility of welcoming you to campus and to our community as a future Cornellian.

Sincerely,

Can’t wait until you update your counselor!! Congrats! I’ve been rooting for you. Xoxo

I think you are right. It needs an interview to see whether we get into that program. But it is certain that we will get into Cornell so cong to both of us haha

Was wondering the same thing. Did they do interviews last year too since things were virtual?

congrats to everyone who was accepted today! did anyone receive a likely letter from dyson?

I just got the email as well, I got accepted!! Congrats to everyone else who got accepted! Btw I applied for the ILR School

hey guys! are they done giving the likely letters out?

Does anyone know if/why the only decisions that came out were from diversity outreach? Does that imply that identity was a heavy influencer of their acceptance?

A couple weeks ago the sent out SHA likely letters. This is now the diversity likely letters. They also usually send ILR likely if I recall.
