APP20 is also for people who applied RD in 2020
Edit: What im saying is that you can’t necessarily discredit this idea of APP20/21 bc most people with APP20 are from RD 2020, so that is why there are so many people with APP20. Someone said that they thought that meant over 300 people got in ED or something
People who applied ED in 2021 also have APP20

If the summer program students also have APP21-####### sort of thing and there were around 8-9k of them, then the data is most probably for admit+waitlist.
Other than that, it’s literally NOT for admit+waitlist as I dont think they’ll waitlist like 18-19k applicants.
Also, it’s NOT for everyone, as then it should have more than 60,000 records but it only has 22-23k

bruh, I did the same thing a few hours ago… except I got a much lower number lol.
considering I had an exam today, therefore having ample time right now, I calculated how many “APP21-#######” are there. There are about 10000 of them, which is way more than what cornell accepts, so I would take this indicator with a grain of salt.

I checked literally ls 1 min ago and this message was not there. Now, there is this: “You will be notified of your decision today, Tuesday, April 6 at 7 pm (EST).” in my portal.
