Can likely people do a check on this post if they can change their password? people who cant do a thumbs down please.
When you click on page source of the status screen, is there a line that reads,
type=“file” value="" accept="
My kid applied ED was deferred. He did the app thing and it says APP21, not APP20. Does anyone know why this is or any other ED candidates have this?
Note: My other kid applied ED here and that appid is APP19 even though she applied in Nov 2018.
The time notification is back on his portal also.

Bruh. I can change my password from the link now suddenly. Directly from the main menu.
It earlier showed that I wasn’t enrolled. Like if you can change password directly from the FA portal main menu. React if you cannot.

that’s for submitting test scores it’s saying that the upload section will only accept certain file types (doc, jpeg, etc)

My brothers name is also there. He applied in 2018 and got accepted but doesn’t go to Cornell
Go to the financial aid portal, click main menu, then click change password.

Probably APP-20 are also people who applied RD last year and not only current deferred ED students. This + # of summer program students make it possible to be a “waitlist/accept” indicator.
Also, how can I check the “change password” indicator if I did not apply for FA?
So I can change my password from my system profile, but not from the main menu. Anyone else got this or know what it means?

one person from my school in 2019 who got into cornell has his name in the database (APP19), he didn’t enroll. another person who didn’t get into cornell that year isn’t showing up in the database

Apparently, there are two ways to change your FA portal password. You can either do so from the main menu drop down or you can do that through the system profile option. Clicking change password from the drop down directly would either say that you are not enrolled or it will let you change your password. I can change my password from the main menu directly now. I’m an international applicant with no likely.
for the people saying if you have APP20 it could be because you submitted your application in 2020, i highly doubt this is true because i submitted my application August 3rd, 2020 and when i search my name is says APP21
