But like they have to consider your major cause otherwise there is a chance that they over admit people who have an interest in a particular major
Technically, except you’re not guaranteed affiliation into your major because you have to apply and they can always up the requirements. Many also change their mind along the way. Some of the classes are also humongous which is one of the negatives we’ve experienced and/or just not getting into a class since there is no priority registration since you always register on the same day as the class for which you entered with. So if you enter this fall, you will register in July with that class, then in November with that class regardless if you have 30 semester hours of AP credit etc. Everyone registered same time, same day. It’s sort of a disorganized cluster and if you don’t get into something, you have to wait until next semester, go through add/drop or hope you can get a waiver or off the waitlist.

Is being able to access the “change password” screen good?? Or have we settled this in a post I missed LOL
I got into Rice last Tuesday and hoping I can make my year better by getting into Cornell. I probably won’t go though. Good luck everyone!

So you won’t be upset if you don’t get in? Which school did you get in that you thought you won’t get accepted in?
I am not expecting much, and even if my son gets accepted, I don’t think he will go to Cornell. I am not sure if he really fits in.
