Cornell Rescind from ILR?!?!?!?

I got in with a 3.6 ED and first quarter I received straight b's (including online pe...I did the entire class in 5 hours night before). My gpa is now a 3.5 and this quarter I'm going to get all b's with maybe one c.. What is the likelihood of getting rescinded.. I'm freaking out. I took on way too much this year and my senioritis has gotten bad.

You might get academic probation, but I doubt you’ll get rescinded. It’s not like you failed anything.

That said, how does one get a ‘B’ in online P.E.?

I’m 99% sure that they won’t rescind your acceptance for this. If you applied ED then they know that you are dedicated to Cornell.

Thanks…I feel a little better. I got a b because I was suppose to show up to fitness tests that were like 20% of the grade and I never went to them… I got hundreds on all the written assignments. It’s embarrassing…

Dude. I understand that it’s P.E., but that’s just… Seriously? You won’t cut it at Cornell if you think like that.

That said, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I know a lot of people who had weak final semesters in high school and weren’t rescinded. Like I said, at worst you’ll get a letter/academic probation.
