I just got back from my overnight, and I have to say, Cornell is the best school I have visited so far. I'm in love <3.

That's about it. I just wanted to let you all know that well... Cornell is awesome.

bah! I could have told you that! Of course Cornell rocks!!! It rocks all of the other schools i've been too, it rocks when it comes to social life, and it rocks your brain back and forth when it comes to academics (sometimes it may be sort of a violent rock, but that's ok).

And honestly, i'm one of only a few people from my HS that truly loves their college and every aspect of it.

Glad to see you had a nice time, come back permanently this fall.

I know it is nothing like your expericnes AT Cornell, but I'm not able to make it for a visit. I am reduced to looking at the college magazines they make about themselves. After spending hours on end looking for the 'perfect' one. I opened Cornell's and... it just seemed... right. I can't explain it but there is something about it that's just... perfect. Can you guys elaborate about what IS so great.... so I can get info from an actual visit?

derek_setter..even on a rainy, freezing day, the campus is gorgeous. the gorges are gorgeous too. There are so many buildings, food places, people running alongside the roads, ah, I'm so bad at explaining --;;..Some of the dorms are seriously nice, but the whole atmosphere I think comes from the first entrance, when you turn by the baseball stadium and see "Big Red" everywhere, and as you drive down the road, you see the Clock Tower, the library overlooking Ithaca, etc. etc. It's great. ^-^..

Me want to gooo :[

since i dont attend, but i wish i did, im prob not the best person to tell you. BUt when i got there, i just had this amazing feeling. It was like a tingly warmth in my chest, and I knew that cornell was the school for me. But everything, really, about cornell is amazing. I mean, it's huge, but I've been told not to let that overwhelm me because all the classes take place in the same area so i/u probably wont get lost. the campus is amazingly beautiful. I thought the people there were pretty cool, well the ones i met which was only like 20. But it was just fun to see kids at an amazingly competitive school help each other with their homework and kid around as they worked, and then take a break to watch tv (my fav. part :-p). Theyre classes are cool, and they have an amazing course offering. I also like this thing with a clicker where in some classes you can respond to certain questions via a clicker. It's athletics are great, I went to the eq. center, very cool. There's just a lot of stuff that made it cool to me. But someone that goes there can give you insider, and definetely better, information. lol.

it's a groovy place.
