Cornell Rolling admissions

Anyone accepted to CALS yet?

Just got me acceptance to ILR yesterday!! wOot!!

apparently CALS isn’t rolling this year

allny how do you know?

Painless and all us CALS applicants this is taken from the FAQ’s on the CALS admissions website
When will I be notified of a decision?

Applicants will be notified on the Common Ivy League Notification Date. No decisions will appear on a student’s self-service account or be otherwise released until the Ivy League notification deadline. If you apply Early Decision you will receive a decision in mid-December. Fall transfer applicants will receive their decision between May and June. Spring transfer applicants will receive their decision in November

so I guess we are waiting until the 30th

My daughter has just received her letter of acceptance from ILR this afternoon. However, the status on Cornell’s portal still says:

“Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review.”

Actually, I called the ILR Admission office earlier today to get more information regarding the rolling admission. The ILR Admission lady told me that it has sent acceptance letters to a small group of applicants on March 1. She also stated that the rest of the acceptance letters will be sent on March 30 and posted online at 5 pm (ET).

Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations! I am a junior and will be visiting the ILR school. Do you have any suggestions for what you would recommend seeing once we are there? Also, can you tell me what made her pick ILR/Cornell? Thanks!

Wish CALS was rolling! I’m so incredibly anxious; I’ve been on edge since after I received my ED deferral.

Was informed of my decision yesterday. It was for ILR, however

To all of you who got your acceptance decisions already…when did you send in your apps. I’m very nervous since ILR is my top choice and I submitted my app on November 20th. Should I be concerned if I haven’t got my decision yet?

Cornell posts decisions online? I thought they only sent out letters.

I sent my app in pretty late (Jan 1st) and got my acceptance 3/6. My first choice was ILR, as well.

I would not read too much into it if you have not gotten anything yet. It sound as though they have only sent a small number of acceptances out, thus far.

Best of luck to you!!

My son’s ILR acceptance letter is dated 3/1. He submitted his application 12/29. I heard only a few were notified of admission, the rest will be the common Ivy date; if so, sounds as if they may have used early admit in a way similar to a “likely” for a small percentage of applicants?
