Cornell School Of Hotel Administration Work Experience?

Hi, I’m a rising junior who is interested in attending Cornell’s SHA. I know they really look for work experience, but how much or what kind is preferred?
I have had an internship with a small restaurant.
Also, my school has a class called The Desmond which is like a hospitality class that works with the Desmond hotel. Does that count as work experience?
