Roughly 2:1 Female to Male ratio for HE.

thanks…Maybe it will help my chances if Im male to get in…I was deciding between this school and CALS. I am not sure of the admission percentages if one is easier than the other???

what do you want to major in

I was thinking Biology Health and Society in Human Ecology or Biology and Society in CALS…If I do preheath does that mean I take the intro courses with 800 students in the Arts and Science school?

@arubadude if you look at the HE stats of last year’s applications, 22% of males were admitted and 26% of females were admitted. Your chances are actually worse for male applicants.

Does anyone know when the Human Ecology decision comes out? Also, what are the usual stats for acceptance?

@amy989 They come out on Ivy day which i think is around April 1st. They don’t release individual stats for colleges but I assume it’s around the stats they release for the entire university.

ok thanks!

@CCSenioritis here are stats for entire university as well as the individual colleges http://irp.dpb.cornell.edu/tableau_visual/admissions

^Thank you for posting that link. It’s very helpful!

@3rdsontocollege Oh i knew they release acceptance rates. I thought they were referring to the stats like GPA/SAT etc for humec. Thanks for the link though!

It seems that many accepted students received phone calls from Human Ecology students a few days before decisions were released. I know my daughter did.
