<p>Does anyone know -- or have a rough idea of -- Cornell's acceptance rates for spring transfers? I can only find data that includes both fall and spring transfers. I'm particularly interested in the Arts and Sciences and Human Ecology acceptance rates.</p>

<p>I can tell you that CAS admitted about 15% of transfer applicants Spring 2008.

<p>That’s actually about twice as high as CAS’s overall admission rate.</p>
<p>CAS accepted a little over 7% of transfer applicants for Fall 2010, a little over 9% for Fall 2009, and a little over 14% for Fall 2008. Its Fall 2010 freshman acceptance rate was somewhat under 16%.</p>
<p>The number of Spring transfers to CAS is small, I would imagine the % may fluctuate quite a bit based partly on the # spaces that have opened up. I only have that one 2008 % for Spring, which as you can see was essentially the same as the Fall 2008 %. The same school year would have been Fall 2007, I don’t have #s for that though.</p>
