So I just bought the Cornell Sweatshirt Jacket thing that all colleges seem to have, a Cornell t-shirt, and Cornell Car Stickers! I'm so excited! Anyone else go on a Cornell buying spree? lol

Where'd you get them from? School store?

I guess I'm just gonna go buy my stuff when I go for Cornell Days during Easter break.

I went on a college trip, visiting the 10 schools that I applied to. Of those 10, I bought a t-shirt from Brown, Penn, Yale, Dartmouth. And of course, the 4 of 10 schools I get rejected from are those 4.

Now I hope I have nothing to worry about when buying Cornell t-shirts.

Aww that sucks. Ya my dad found a couple sites that had stuff as a suprise since they are really excited for me. I think we ended up just getting em all from the Cornell store and they are being shipped now.

www.ivysport.com-->best place to get Cornell (and Ivy League) clothes

Speaking of other Ivy League schools...I'm pretty excited about going to games against other Ivy League teams. It just seems like it will be so much fun lol. Does Cornell have a main rival?

and that site seems like it's a little more expensive...I'd compare before buying

Yeah...I have a lot of colleges to root against now (Penn, Yale, Brown, Dartmouth). I looked through the ivy league standings for many sports and Cornell is in the top half for pretty much all of them. Usually around #2-#3. Apparently they're pretty good at baseball and lacrosse though.

Hmm...PS...can I start saying "we", or do I still have to say "they" when referring to Cornell. Now that I'm about to send in my acceptance card, I'm gonna start saying "we" Go Big Red.

O that's really cool. I'm gonna root against Brown and Columbia, those jerks...lol. Thats awesome that it seems like we'll be on the winning side a good amount.

is ivysport a better deal than the stores at cornell?

Depends on what you're buying. Mine as well take the time to compare both.

someone asked if cornell has a main rival, in hockey (which they rock at) cornells main rival is Harvard.

I've never been to a hockey game (since my highschool's team is combined wit a few other's towns and play far away). But hey, if it's a big thing I'll definitely go, watch, and have fun!

Cornell hockey is a way of life, Figgy.

Hockey is what defines Cornell. It is that life blood that keeps the campus going in winter. It instills a sense of commaraderie in all Cornellians. Its that time when there is no bar between an Engineer and Doctor...or a Hotelie or Scientist...all are one...all are Cornellians.

PS: but i do prefer BasketBall :p

Ok, hockey is big, but it's not that big. I's say that frat parties are what holds the campus together in the winter, to be honest.

Anyway, when you visit Cornell, the Cornell Store always has good clothing for sale, but also check out Bear Neccessities in Collegetown (and you should check out Collegetown anyway).

We should compile all of Arjun's dramatic posts about Cornell and print it as propaganda.

My stuff just got here! Wow they got the order Monday and it's already here...FAST! I'm definitely gonna wear my jacket to school tommorow lol. I'm not gonna go full out with the shirt and jacket tho cuz that would be kinda weird, I'll admit lol. Ya!
