<p>asva...I got deferral as well... It is an undeniable truth that deferral isn't the pleasing news to hear right before holidays..
However why don't we be just a little bit positive?
At least we can apply to other colleges and make a choice after got all the results...:p</p>

<p>Cornell has been my dream college...
I know that the notification date was really really(yah....)late, but I wouldn't say Cornell sucks just because they could not meet the deadline due to some inevitable reasons....</p>
<p>we're all just disappointed. You know if they offered you an acceptance you would go there. Just continue hoping for the best. And Cornell isn't the only other college out ther. If I get rejected RD i'm going to Oswego because no one else has my major. At least you can probably apply to more good schools.</p>

I completely understand how you feel. Before this, it was all a bubbly and romantic love affair with Cornell. Now I still love it, but I can occasionally throw something at it.
That said, I would COMPLETELY say yes if Cornell mentioned ANYTHING about admissions or attending or anyhting like that.
We still have a chance in RD.</p>
