Hi! I am from Vietnam, and I am going to apply for Cornell University Summer College 2010. However, my parents find it hard to afford the tuition and fees of the courses ( about 6000 USD :( ). I still want to apply for this Summer Session of Cornell and I want to know if this 3-week session may boost my chance A LOT of getting to Cornell (and any other undergraduate schools). This is urgent. :(
Thanks in advance :D.

no they dont. dont go if you dont have the $$$. it wont help you at all.

it looks good that you’re doing something academic over the summer. going to cornell’s summer program won’t look better than doing any other academic program over the summer and it’s also a little overpriced, which I think is what Tboone meant. I did a summer college program somewhere else, but I think it helped with my college apps.

if you can’t afford to do it, find some other way to be productive.
