Any kids who were at the Summer Program over the last summer who are applying, put your name, program, and college applied to in this forum. I went to LTMC and am obviously applying ED to SHA. Go Binenkorb!

There has to be one Cornell Summer College alum on CC.

haha...LENNON

thats ma BOI

ach44, just making sure, did you attend Cornell's Summer College program? If so, how was the experience? I'm eager for admissions to post the 2007 application so I can apply. From the official site, it appears to be a very challenging yet rewarding experience simultaneously-something I seek....

Cornell Summer College is awesome. It both provides you with excellent credentials for applying to top Universities in addition to being an amazing experience. I would reccomend that you enroll for the summer of your junior year. By that time, you will have reached an age where you truly appreciate the things that happen at Summer College! Enjoy!!

Do you have to pay for it?

Ya, they really screw you over as far as the price goes. But the experience and the credentials you receive are well worth it.

Yeah It is expensive yet after I told my parents, I'm getting a job to cover the costs. I have gone very cheap in almost everything I buy just to save up to attend the Summer program. That is if I get in, but hey what can hurt if I don't? I'll still have my piggy stuffed for Christmas. ;)

Lol, don't worry about getting in, they basically admit everyone who applies. You should worry about being prepared to do school-like work over the summer though. As long as you go into summer college optimistically, you can only benefit from both the experience, and the credentials.
