whos goin?

your mom...

me, CALS 1 week

my S, 6 week pgm

That's cool. I'm also going to be there for 6 weeks; which courses didd your son sign up for?

I'm going... I'm going for three weeks in Body, Mind, and Health. :)

hey sunpria guess who,...newayz ima be up there for microbio for six weeks. So excited!

I went three weeks last year, which was a new program that combined the 1 week CALS program and 2 weeks of research (for a total of 3 credits).

The 1 week course was really good, but you have to write a paper every night. Brian Earle, who leads the program, is phenomenal. You'll have a great time akai.

Anyway, I won't be going this summer. I actually wanted to go for another three weeks, but my parents wouldn't let me and prefered I just get a job. I'm not too upset though, i'll be there almost all year round soon enough =)

Have fun everyone!

Hey i'm taking courses in chem and microbio (6 weeks). I was wondering though, is there any way to get involved in research outside of these classes?

how are you guys paying for these classes?

If you had contacted some professors earlier, there might've been some research opportunities. I know my research professor was looking for someone to work in her lab over the summer (since I couldn't stay at Cornell for the summer) and eventually found a high school student. There might still be some opportunities available. You will be able to find them on Cornell's website.

Is anybody else going to Body, Mind, and Health?

Does anyboddy know if the Cornell faculty has something special planned for July 4th for us summer Cornellians?

Ithaca College usually has fireworks, so most Cornellians sit on the Lib Slope and watch.
