Cornell Summer Program Questions HELP!

I applied last Monday, got in on Friday! So excited!

Ok now to the real problem, how am I going to pay for this?

I was hoping on financial aid, but then I missed the deadline. I just figured out this program on Monday so yeah. My family can not pay $10,000. How did you guys pay for it? Other than financial aid from the Cornell Summer Program (you lucky and smart kids who applied early!) and the people whose parent's paid for all of it, how did you do it? I know the website says to talk to my guidance counselor about it, but what could she do?

BUMP! this is important

Bump, or is just everyone here extremely rich.

bump, answers please. I just want to know how you paid for it.

Bumpity bump

BUMPnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

BuMpPnnnnnnnn

Bumpppppppppppppppppp

bumpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

Bump bump bump

I’m in a similar sitation, I am paying for part of it w/ my own money from job, saving ect. The other part I’m thinking work out a deal with parents to pay back throughout next year. I know it stinks, especially with college admissions around the corner, but it looks like a great program…

No summer program is worth $10,000… seriously, take a community college class, get a job, volunteer, etc. You have all of college to do the sleep away thing.

That money would be so much better spent on college. Or a trip around the world, a nice car, in savings as an emergency fund, etc.

And to answer your question, no one is just magically making money appear. They are either rich or got financial aid. Since you missed the financial aid deadline, I would recommend just doing something else with your summer.
